The short answer
When comparing pest-control services in Hong Kong, ask for an itemised written scope, pesticide information, written warranty terms, the inspection-fee arrangement, service records and how questions are answered. These six checks support a more informed comparison; they cannot guarantee a treatment outcome.
Why is "which company is best" such a hard question?
Service scope and pricing structures can differ. A 2017 Consumer Council report on 15 responding companies found 6 offered free inspections, 6 charged HK$300–1,500, and the other 3 decided case by case whether to send staff. These are historical findings, not current market prices. Rather than choose by reputation or price alone, use a checklist that applies to any company — including us.

6 checks you can actually verify

3 red flags — stop right there
- "Guaranteed permanent results" — no one can promise that; a serious company talks about warranty periods and follow-up, not permanence.

- Cannot explain the proposed pesticide and relevant information — ask for this in the quote or service record before deciding whether to compare another option.
