How to use it

Start with one brief
Describe the same locations, surfaces and requested work for every provider. Mark unmeasured areas and unknown moisture causes honestly rather than comparing three different jobs.

Separate the quoted items
Record removal, coating, investigation, repairs and other work separately. If a package is vague, ask for written inclusions and exclusions instead of filling the gaps yourself.

Resolve differences before choosing
Similar totals can cover different work. List unanswered questions, extra-cost conditions, warranty remedies and payment arrangements. The worksheet leaves the final comparison to you.

Before you use this resource
What if the quote only says mould-treatment package?
Keep the original wording and mark unspecified removal, coating, investigation, repair and cleanup items as questions. Do not interpret silence as inclusion or invent a cost.
Does the worksheet recommend the cheapest provider?
No. First establish whether the work is comparable, what costs extra and whether the written terms are complete. There is no automatic score or recommendation.
Is a longer warranty necessarily more comprehensive?
Duration alone does not describe its scope. Record covered areas, conditions, exclusions and the remedy offered. Leave anything not supplied in writing unresolved.
Will my completed worksheet be sent to Averta?
