My old-building flat in Kwun Tong has a filthy neighbouring unit — is it even worth treating my own flat?
It helps, but has limits. In older buildings, pipe gaps and ducting often connect neighbouring units, so if the source isn't in your flat, the priority shifts to "holding the line" — sealing entry routes (floor drains, pipe penetrations, door gaps) plus a residual barrier. We'll point out every entry point we find during the inspection, and you decide what to do about it.
How's rodent control different in a Kwun Tong industrial unit versus a home?
Completely different. Industrial work is built around goods flow and the building structure — the space under pallets, false ceilings, and cable trays are rodent highways — so the plan leans on monitoring points, sealing, and bait station placement, at a different density and in different spots than a home job. We can only quote accurately after seeing the site.
Why are mosquitoes so bad in Kwun Tong?
There's data behind it. FEHD's mosquito-trap index recorded 21.4% at Kwun Tong Central in one June 2026 batch — the highest in that batch — and the most recent batch still showed 14.1%, one of only two monitoring areas above 10%. Aedes albopictus breeds in tiny amounts of standing water, and older-district drainage channels, rooftop clutter and flowerpot trays are all breeding grounds. Controlling it means tackling standing water at the source — spraying alone won't hold for more than a few days.
How quickly can you get to a Kwun Tong address? Do you work industrial units after hours?
Yes. Many of our Kwun Tong clients are in industrial or mixed commercial-residential buildings, so we can schedule outside normal office hours to fit your unit's access times, and restaurant jobs are always done outside trading hours. Send us a photo and your rough location on WhatsApp and we'll confirm a time the same day; inspection is HK$350, fully credited when you book.
